Rebecca Lewison
Dr. Lewison's research focuses on quantitative assessments of anthropogenic disturbances of vulnerable wildlife populations. Using empirical and quantitative tools, she studies vulnerable wildlife populations that live in both terrestrial and aquatic environments facing pressing conservation issues. Her recent research projects have included life history and demographic analyses, quantitative bycatch assessments, and spatially-explicit behavioral models across a wide-range of taxa. Dr. Lewison's current research continues to develop analytical methods to bycatch, focusing on multi-taxa and multi-gear approaches to understanding bycatch. Dr. Lewison is an Assistant Professor at San Diego State University, and a member of the Graduate Group in Ecology at UC Davis.
