Tara Cox

Name: Tara Cox
Country: U.S.A.
Occupation: Marine Conservation Biologist
Specialty: Marine mammals, spatial analysis, marine policy
Best part about my job: the ocean, cute animals, doing something that matters/makes a difference
Biggest challenges: doing something that matters/making a difference
The most unusual or exciting thing that's happened to me while working in the field: Having a harbor porpoise on top of me in a boat in an attempt to rescue it from a fishing net.
Scientist/Conservationist I most admire: Jane Goodall
Ten years from now, I hope I will be doing:  Getting off a boat after having taken students out in the field to study dolphins and get in my car and head to my son's soccer game.
When I'm not working on Project GloBAL I enjoy: triathlons, walking on the beach, playing with Alden Jeremiah Grant
